| CONCRETE TRUCK OVERTURNS ON RT. 50 |
On Monday, November 5th at approximately 6:10 am, Deputies Sabin and Metzler were dispatched to a vehicle
accident on US Rt. 50 near the intersection of Rt. 29 South. Initial investigation revealed that a concrete truck,
being operated by Brent Peterson Zick, struck a deer on Rt. 50. The truck ran over top of the deer, causing the
front axle to break free from it's mounting. This action caused the truck to lose directional control. The truck
swerved into the oncoming lane and overturned. The accident is still under investigation.
