TWO GRADUATE FROM ACADEMY

Two members of the Hampshire County Sheriff's Office recently completed the 16 week basic training class at the
WV State Police Academy in Institute, WV. Both were members of the 133rd Basic Class.
Deputy Jed Metzler was hired by the Sheriff's Office in June 2007. He completed his Field Training with another
deputy prior to attending the academy in January 2008. Metzler holds a two year Associates Degree in Applied
Science in Automotive Technology.
Deputy Stuart Davis, a 2004 graduate of Hampshire High School began his employment with the sheriff's office in
January 2008. Davis studied Criminal Justice at Fairmont State University, where he worked for the Department of
Public Safety.
