The Hampshire County Sheriff's Office main office is located in Romney, WV. We also have a substation located in Capon Bridge, WV. Our dedicated team of law enforcement officers provide services to approximately 640 square miles of Hampshire County, West Virginia.

The current Sheriff of Hampshire County is
Nathan J. Sions. He most recently took office in January 2021. Prior to taking office, Sheriff Sions served two terms as Chief Deputy, and two terms as Sheriff of Hampshire County.
